Abstract(s)
At a time when mass production and innovation are monopolized by large corporations, the concept presented here intends to be an alternative to the current consumption paradigm. For this purpose, it is proposed the development of a service model that combines a digital repository of free files for additive printing, with a network of individual producers and/or micro-factories, centralizing the creation of value in urban centers, stimulating the local economy, to the detriment of large peripheral factories. Urban production strengthens the relationship between customer and producer, offering a more personalized service, suited to the vision of today's consumer, thus ensuring a reduction in costs and promoting a more sustainable, ecologically and socially responsible model.
