A análise do atual panorama museológico, nacional e internacional, resulta na identificação de diversos problemas no que diz respeito à gestão dos seus acervos. Apresenta-se aqui um Relatório de Projeto desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Património, Artes e Turismo Cultural, tendo como missão primordial a proposta de desenvolvimento de uma nova Unidade de Reserva para o Património Cultural da cidade de Mirandela, nomeadamente peças de escultura, pintura e etnografia presentes nos diversos acervos das instituições culturais da cidade.
Tomando como ponto de partida a diversidade dos acervos das instituições culturais da região de Mirandela, nomeadamente do Museu da Oliveira e do Azeite e do Museu Municipal Armindo Teixeira Lopes, bem como a coleção de objetos antropológicos encontrados em pesquisas, visitas e escavações, pertencentes ao Município de Mirandela mais precisamente ao departamento de Antropologia.
Este Relatório de Projeto, foca-se, então, no desenvolvimento e organização de uma Nova Unidade de Reserva, na qual estarão integradas as coleções de Arte Contemporânea
pertencente ao Museu Municipal Armindo Teixeira Lopes (MATL) constituída por diversas tipologias de Património como pintura, escultura e medalhística. A coleção de etnografia que incide em elementos de confeção de azeite bem como métodos de apanha da azeitona, coleção de Património Arqueológico e por fim, a coleção de Património Documental que abrange e tem como objetivo fundamentar todas as coleções anteriormente mencionadas.
The analysis of the current national and international museological panorama results in the identification of several problems regarding the management of its collections. We present here a Project Report developed under the Master's Degree in Heritage, Arts and Cultural Tourism, whose primary mission is to propose the development of a new Reserve Unit for the Cultural Heritage of the city of Mirandela, namely pieces of sculpture, painting and ethnography present in the various collections of Cultural institutions in the city. Taking as a starting point the diversity of the collections of Cultural institutions in the Mirandela region, namely the Museu da Oliveira e do Azeite and the Municipal Museum Armindo Teixeira Lopes, as well as the collection of anthropological objects found in research, visits and excavations, belonging to the Municipality of Mirandela more precisely to the Department of Anthropology. This project report, then, focuses on the development and organization of a New Reserve Unit, in which the Contemporary Art collections belonging to the Armindo Teixeira Lopes Municipal Museum (MATL) will be integrated, consisting of several types of Heritage such as painting, sculpture and medals. The Ethnography collection that focuses on elements of olive oil production as well as olive harvesting methods, the Archaeological Heritage collection and finally, the Documentary Heritage collection that encompasses and aims to support all the aforementioned collections.
