Abstract(s)
The research that is the object of this project, was developed with the purpose of collecting information on the impact caused by training in Educational Organizations Administration, at the master’s level, in relation to the professional path of the students who attended it. The number of students taking master's courses in school administration at Portuguese universities has increased considerably in the last 5-10 years. Having been introduced recently, there is an extremely limited evaluation of these courses, and little is known about their effect, in the context of the education system (macro level of impact), or their influence on the development and professional practices of students who attended the masters (micro level of impact). In order to deepen this reflection, we sought to obtain data through a questionnaire survey regarding the completion of the master’s degree under study and any measures that are being applied by the various higher education institutions, to promote its completion. The results obtained may enhance the introduction of possible improvements in later editions.
