Abstract(s)
O presente documento tem como objetivo relatar todo o processo envolvente à criação do espetáculo “Metamorfose (in)temporal”. O objeto de estudo deste projeto é a cultura raiana de Bemposta, no Planalto Mirandês. O propósito do acontecimento performativo é transpor, fielmente, para cena toda a problemática por detrás das tradições e dos rituais vilelos.
Neste relatório são descritos os procedimentos tomados durante o projeto, desde a fase de pesquisa até à conceção do objeto performativo. Impôs-se a realização de uma investigação de natureza exploratória e dedutiva, com recurso a uma estratégia metodológica bifásica: a recolha de material – pesquisa teórica e de campo; e o processo de criação, construção e realização do espetáculo.
Este projeto relevou a necessidade de uma reflexão sobre a importância de uma extensa pesquisa, recolhida em primeira mão, relativamente ao objeto de estudo; permitiu aferir as características de trabalho com atores não-profissionais, num espaço de tempo reduzido; e possibilitou uma definição do papel da comunidade na continuação dos rituais e dos costumes.
The following document intends to elaborate the entire process related to the creation of “Metamorfose (in)temporal”. The object of study of this project is the culture of Bemposta, a bordering village from the Mirandese Plateau. The purpose of such work is to bring to the stage, as accurately as possible, the intricacies that lie behind the traditions and the rituals of the vilelos. The methodology adopted during this project from the research phase to the creation of the actual performance is described in this report. In conclusion an explanatory and deductive investigation was deemed necessary and as such was done in two separate phases: collecting information, through a thorough theoretic and field research; and the creation, construction and direction of the spectacle. This project has highlighted the need of thinking about the importance of an extensive investigation, done personally, relative to the object of study and its analyses; it has permitted the acknowledgement of the characteristics of working with non-professional actors in a short period of time; and made possible a definition of the role of the community in perpetuating its rituals and habits.
