Este relatório descreve a realização de um estágio curricular no Canal 180, no
âmbito da unidade curricular de Dissertação/ Proj eto/ Estágio do Mestrado em Cinema e
Fotografia, na especialização de Cinema de Ficção, da Escola Superior de Media Artes e
Design do Instituto Politécnico do Porto.
Mantendo como foco o papel do Montador face às diferentes linguagens
audiovisuais que este trabalha, o relatório inicialmente reflete sobre o processo de
Montagem e como este varia consoante as novas linguagens audiovisuais que vão
surgindo, para depois integrar esta reflexão dentro do estudo empírico que o estágio
curricular possibilitou.
The following document describes an internship at Canall80, as part of the course unit of Dissertation/Project/lnternship of the Master in Cinema and Photography, specialization in Fiction Cinema, at Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design of Porto Folytechnic Institute. Having the Film Editor as the focus of the report when it comes to the different audiovisual languages it works in, this document starts out by reflecting about the process of the Film Editor and how it changes with the new audiovisual languages, so that afterwards this reflection can be integrated into the empirical study that this curricular internshipmade available.
