Abstract(s)
The present work addresses the technical configurations commonly used in the preparation and performance of contemporary music for clarinet and delayed electronics, which traditionally rely on laptops and playback machines to manage the processing and reproduction of electronic music. However, it proposes an alternative centered on the use of the iPad, testing its effectiveness in a real performance environment. Through practical study and comparative analysis, it is demonstrated that the iPad, combined with dedicated software and an audio interface, can provide greater autonomy, cost reduction, and a considerable simplification of the performer’s setup. The results suggest that this mobile device-based approach can reliably replace traditional solutions, promoting greater accessibility and meeting the demands of technological innovation in mixed music.
