A partir da criação dos Institutos Federais, surge no Brasil uma nova realidade educacional que tem por finalidade ofertar a educação profissional e tecnológica. O objetivo é formar e qualificar cidadãos voltados para a atuação profissional, com ênfase no desenvolvimento social, local, regional e nacional. Posteriormente à formação académica, eis que surge o momento de conquista profissional, que vai desde a obtenção de um emprego até o reconhecimento concedido e aperfeiçoamento laboral. O presente estudo reporta esta realidade pós-formaçãono Instituto Federal Farroupilha, Campus de Alegrete-RS, por intermédio de alunos egressos dos Cursos Técnicos de Agroindústria e de Informática. Teve por objetivo recolher as percepções destes alunos sobre o grau de influência prática do conhecimento obtido nos cursos técnicos na inserção no mercado de trabalho. Atendendo à natureza dos objetivos delineados adotou-se uma metodologia quantitativa, com um design de estudo de caso, mediante a realização de inquéritos por questionário. Os resultados obtidos junto dos alunos dos respetivos cursos mostram que estes aprovaram o conhecimento obtido, uma vez que obtiveram êxito na sua inserção no mercado de trabalho.
Background: After academic training, behold, the moment of professional achievement arises, ranging from the acquisition of a job, to the recognition granted, and to the work improvement. What the present discusses, is directly exposed, the reality post-graduation in the Federal Institute Farroupilha, Campus of Alegrete-RS, through students and graduates of thetechnical courses of agrondustry and informatics. Objective: To evaluate the influence of the knowledge obtained along the technical courses of the Federal Institute Farroupilha, Campus of Alegrete-RS, before the insertion in the work market of the rescpective students in an approach of the practical reality of them. Methods: Case study, through interviews and questionnaires of the socio-economic genre, and development of dissertations and testimonies by the students with the purpose of knowledge of the degree of practical influence of Obtained together with the Federal Institute Farroupilha-Campus of Alegrete-RS.Results: It was found that among the 15 students of the respective technical courses of agroindustry and informatics each, they approved the knowledge obtained together with the Federal Institute Farroupilha-Campus of Alegrete-RS, and therefore succeeded in its Their insertion in the labour market.
