Este trabalho apresenta uma dissertação de mestrado que procura consciencializar o leitor sobre a falta de conhecimento de repertório feminino português que existe na atualidade, com a partilha de obras para canto e piano que não constam no repertório da grande maioria dos músicos.
Através do estudo que realizei ao longo destes dois últimos anos de mestrado, que consistiu na análise de vários textos, bem como de entrevistas e partituras que estudei, analisei e apresentei no meu Recital Final de Mestrado a presente investigação reúne informação sobre quatro compositoras portuguesas contemporâneas e as suas obras para canto e piano, e o desenvolvimento do género feminino no meio musical ao longo da história. Apresenta ainda informação de outras obras de compositoras portuguesas, que fui descobrindo ao longo do meu trabalho de investigação, de modo a fornecer o máximo de repertório feminino português dos séculos XX e XXI.
This work presents a master's thesis that aims to raise awareness about the lack of knowledge regarding portuguese female repertoire that exists today, by sharing works for voice and piano that are not included in the repertoire of the vast majority of musicians. Through the research I conducted over the past two years of my master's program, which involved the analysis of various texts, as well as interviews and scores that I studied, analyzed, and presented in my Final Master's Recital, this investigation compiles information about four contemporary portuguese female composers and their works for voice and piano, as well as the development of women in the musical field throughout history. It also provides information on other works by portuguese female composers, which I discovered during my research, in order to offer as much portuguese female repertoire from the 20th and 21st centuries as possible.
