Num cenário empresarial cada vez mais competitivo, é crucial que as organizações
implementem procedimentos e estratégias que lhes permitam otimizar o uso dos recursos
disponíveis, produzindo mais e melhor. A eficácia de um processo de gestão depende
fundamentalmente da qualidade da informação e de como esta é utilizada. Para garantir que
a informação seja útil, ela deve ser disponibilizada de forma oportuna e organizada num
layout acessível a todos os envolvidos. É neste contexto que surgem os Indicadores de
Desempenho e os Dashboards, ferramentas essenciais para a visualização, análise de dados
e suporte à tomada de decisões estratégicas.
Este documento é referente ao trabalho desenvolvido durante o estágio curricular que
ocorreu entre outubro de 2023 e janeiro de 2024, numa empresa do setor de Energias,
Sustentabilidade e Ecoeficiência. O foco do trabalho desenvolvido incidiu no departamento
de Procurement, tendo como objetivo principal a implementação de Indicadores de
Desempenho para controlo e desempenho do departamento. O relatório detém 4 partes
fundamentais: fundamentação teórica, descrição da organização, desenvolvimento e
resultados dos Indicadores de Desempenho elaborados para o departamento de Procurement
e a proposta de um Dashboard para o departamento.
O controlo do desempenho no departamento de Procurement concedeu aos membros do
departamento e gestores da empresa, a oportunidade de fazer uma monitorização contínua e
precisa do desempenho, proporcionando insights valiosos que orientaram a tomada de
decisões estratégicas. O Dashboard, por sua vez, centralizou as informações essenciais,
facilitando o acesso rápido e eficiente a dados críticos, o que resultou em uma gestão mais
ágil e informada. Com esta ferramenta, a empresa não apenas melhorou a eficiência
operacional, mas também fortaleceu a sua capacidade de reagir de forma proativa aos
desafios e oportunidades do mercado.
In an increasingly competitive business environment, it is crucial for organizations to implement procedures and strategies that allow them to optimize the use of available resources, producing more and better. The effectiveness of a management process fundamentally depends on the quality of the information and how it is used. To ensure that the information is useful, it must be made available in a timely and organized manner in a layout accessible to all involved. It is in this context that Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Dashboards emerge, essential tools for data visualization, analysis, and support for strategic decision-making. This internship report pertains to the curricular internship that took place between October 2023 and January 2024 at a small-medium company in the Sustainable Energy and Ecoefficiency sector. The theme of this report focused on the Procurement department, with the main objective of implementing performance indicators (KPI) to control and measure the department's performance. The report is divided into four fundamental parts: literature review, organizational description, development and results of the KPI designed for the Procurement department, and the proposal of a Dashboard for the department. The performance control in the Procurement department provided the department members and company managers with the opportunity to continuously and accurately monitor performance, providing valuable insights that guided strategic decision-making. The Dashboard, in turn, centralized essential information, facilitating quick and efficient access to critical data, resulting in more agile and informed management. With this tool, the company not only improved operational efficiency but also strengthened its ability to proactively respond to market challenges and opportunities.
