Abstract(s)
Currently, mostly due to the advance of the technological systems, digitalization and the greater ease in acquiring goods, the society has become more demanding. Due to this factor, companies need to start to follow the same line of thinking as consumers, so that harmony between both are stabilized. This can lead to a change in the way how processes and operations are executed. The supply chain management was not an exception and it was necessary to create more efficient systems, such as crossdocking systems, which promote the fast movement of products in a distribution center. In these systems, the products can be stored with the conditon that the storage time is minimum and can not exceed a certain period of time. Thus, the main goal is to model and simulate a crossdocking system with an integrated and efficient automatic warehouse. With this model, another solution can be designed and it is meant to help with eventual logistic problems of this type. This thesis presents the development of the entire work executed, starting in the theoretical study of the concepts, ending with the final conclusions based on the results obtained. The work also went through other phases, all of them identified and with relevant content. Through defined layouts, and after an implementation of the model in the software used, the results were generated taking into account some variations at the level of simulation components, always focused on the existing systems in real context. An approach of this type of systems makes the simulation, although virtual, much more credible and reliable. Several analyzes were performed so that the results generated are comprehensive and complete.
