“A Era da Surdez” é uma peça teatro, criada no âmbito de um projeto de Mestrado em Criação Teatral.
É uma criação em conjunto que conta a história de uma sociedade, onde a música, ou qualquer expressão de musicalidade, é proibida.
Criada por, Simão Collares, que ficou encarregue da encenação e escrita da peça, Guilherme Festas, encarregue do vídeo e da ilustração, da Joana Campos, encarregue dos figurinos, e por mim, que fiquei encarregue da criação das músicas para o espetáculo.
Esta monografia serve como um olhar por dentro do processo que foi criar as músicas utilizadas no espetáculo, as escolhas, as falhas, os desafios, entender como é que a música de intervenção foi utilizada como base dramatúrgica neste processo criativo.
“A Era da Surdez” Is a play created as part of a Master’s project in Theatre Creation. This is a collaborative creation that tells the story of a society, where the music, or any kind of musical expression, it’s prohibited. Created by, Simão Collares, who was in charge of the directing and writing the script, by Guilherme Festas, in charge of the video and illustration, by Joana Campos, in charge of the costumes, and by me, who was responsible for the creation of the songs for the play. This monograph serves like a look inside the process that was creating the songs used in the play, the choices, the flaws, the challenges, understand how music of intervention was used as dramaturgical base in this creative process.
