Abstract(s)
Este trabalho tem como princípio o crescente aumento do turismo em Portugal e o mesmo
crescimento na Área Metropolitana do Porto. Dado o consequente aumento na procura de
alojamento surgiu a ideia de criar um hostel em Matosinhos. Para a criação desta nova
unidade hoteleira, será comprado, reabilitado e adaptado para esta nova função o antigo
Cine-Teatro Constantino Nery. O edificio e zona envolvente serão valorizados por esta
intervenção.
Para além da construção de um novo hostel, serão feitas parcerias para dar forma ao
conceito desta unidade de alojamento. Saúde e bem estar desportivo é o conceito que o
mesmo pretende implementar, e para isso está previsto uma parceria com a Billabong, a
YouCare e uma agência de viagens. A Billabong para dar forma ao exercício físico e para
promover o hostel, a YouCare para ficar encarregue do bem-estar clínico e relaxamento
dos nossos clientes e a agência para efectuar o transporte para o centro do Porto quando
já tiverem explorado todo o nosso hostel e região.
No desenvolvimento do trabalho iremos encontrar os temas Plano de Negócios, Turismo
e Alojamento Local para justificar como todo o plano foi realizado e o porquê da criação
deste hostel neste local.
Sendo assim, o objetivo do trabalho é mostrar a viabilidade económica e financeira da
criação deste novo hostel.
This work is based on the growing increase of tourism in Portugal and the subsequent growth in the Porto Metropolitan Area. Further to this continuous raising demand, comes along the idea of creating a hostel in Matosinhos. The former Cine-Teatro Constantino Nery will be bought, rehabilitated and converted into a hostel, adding value to the building and surrounding area. Together with the creation of a new hostel, partnerships will be formed to shape the hostel's concept. Health and fitness well-being is the concept that it aims to implement, and it foresees to create relationships with Billabong, Youcare and a travel agency. Billabong will be our fitness partner and associated brand when promoting the hostel, YouCare is our partner for the clinical well-being and relaxation of our clients, and the agency will transport them to the Porto centre when they have already explored our entire hostel and region. In the development of this thesis we will find the themes Business Plan, Tourism and Local Accommodation to justify the reason for the creation of this hostel in this specific area. Furthermore, the objective of the work is to demonstrate the economic and financial viability of the creation of this new hostel.
