Abstract(s)
• Interpretar o problema existente;
• Apresentar o respetivo contexto e estado de arte;
• Avaliar soluções e abordagens existentes;
• Apresentar o design e construção do protótipo realizado;
The present work is the final report developed in the scope of the Information Technology Master’s degree of Engineering, in the Curricular Thesis Unit. The objective is to describe and contextualize the online distribution through social networks, applying knowledge and skills throughout the master's degree, in the various units attended by the student. The intent of elaborating this thesis was to analyse and design a capable platform to buy/sell products using the strong impact of the social networks on people’s lives. This report is splited into several chapters each one demonstrating the several phases: • Interpret the existing problem; • Present their context and state of art; • Evaluate existing solutions and approaches; • Present the design and construction of the realized prototype; • Evaluate the results of the prototype carried out. Marketing methodologies were also put into practice throughout the development of this solution in order to value the project. The listed activities are an extra and did not had any impact on the primary objective of the project execution or calendar. In short, the platform developed meets a gap in the market and started as a student idea. This platform is already in practice and has over forty five thousand users. It was scored third on an entrepreneurship contest.
