Abstract(s)
O desenvolvimento do Turismo, enquanto potencial económico tem ganho
expressividade ao longo dos anos. Este é considerado um segmento multidimensional
que envolve a maior rede de bens, serviços e pessoas que contribuem para a sua
relevância na atividade económica mundial.
O seu crescimento exponencial obrigou ao desenvolvimento de uma nova
conduta ligada ao exercício turístico sustentável, promovendo a articulação eficiente dos
recursos naturais, culturais e económicos no desenvolvimento e implementação da
atividade turística.
O relatório apresentado descreve as atividades desenvolvidas no âmbito do
estágio curricular no Serviço de Turismo da Câmara Municipal de Santo Tirso e apresenta
as principais dinâmicas concretizadas pelo Município no desenvolvimento turístico.
Aliado ao desenvolvimento do estágio, foi criado um Guia de Responsabilidade
Social e Sustentabilidade para posicionar Santo Tirso, num verdadeiro destino
responsável.
Este manual de novas práticas assumiu a criação de novos conjuntos de ações
conducentes à conservação e valorização do território tirsense. Garantindo a proteção
da vida terrestre, o desenvolvimento de turismo e turistas responsáveis e por fim, a
criação de instituições eficazes e inovadoras.
The development of the tourism sector has gained expressiveness over the years. It is considered a multidimensional segment, involving the largest current of goods, services and people that contribute to its relevance in global economic activity. lts exponential grovvth has forced the development of a new conduct linked to the practice of sustainable tourism, promoting the efficient articulation of natural, cultural, and economic resources in the development and implementation of tourism activity. The report describes the activities carried out in the curricular internship at the Tourism Service of the Municipality of Santo Tirso and presents the main dynamics developed by the municipality in tourism development. Together With the development of the practical exercise, a social responsibility and sustainability guide was created to position Santo Tirso, in a true responsible destination. This nevv manual of good practices has taken over the creation of new actions that are linked to the conservation and valorisation of the territory. Ensuring the protection of land life, the development of responsible tourism and tourists and finally the creation of effective and innovative institutions.
