O presente relatório descreve o estágio curricular de conclusão do Mestrado em Logística
para obtenção do respetivo grau de Mestre. O estágio teve lugar no departamento de transportes
da empresa Covet Group.
O Covet Group é uma empresa Multinacional que tem o principal foco no fabrico e design
de peças imobiliárias de luxo, com 15 marcas e mais de 500 pessoas em todo mundo o Covet Group
tornou-se num dos maiores nomes no ramo de mobílias para casas.
O estágio teve a duração de 3 meses tendo iniciado no final do mês de março e o término
no princípio do mês de julho. Durante o tempo de estágio foram realizadas as seguintes tarefas:
controlo e processamento de faturas para posterior envio para o departamento da contabilidade;
observar o funcionamento do departamento dos transportes para identificar problemas e propor
possíveis soluções para a resolução dos mesmos; fazer o uso da ferramenta Power BI para criar
um mapa do stock do armazém.
Fazer o estágio revelou-se uma boa escolha, pois proporcionou a oportunidade de poder
observar na prática e vivenciar uma experiência de trabalho. Esta experiência foi enriquecedora em
termos de aquisição de conhecimentos práticos robustos referentes ao funcionamento da logística.
No sentido de facilitar e tornar mais claro a elaboração do relatório, definiram-se objetivos.
Os objetivos foram a avaliação da importância do departamento de logística, a observação das
diversas funções na empresa e aplicação dos conhecimentos adquiridos no mestrado
desenvolvendo uma aplicação em Power BI, por forma a responder às necessidades encontradas.
Em suma, esta experiência foi enriquecedora e cumpriu com os objetivos estabelecidos
como provam os testemunhos recebidos pelos colaboradores da empresa.
This report describes the curricular internship for completing the Master in Logistics to obtain the respective master’s degree. The internship took place in the transport department of the Covet Group company. The Covet Group is a multinational company that has the focus on the manufacture and design of luxury real estate pieces, with 15 brands and more than 500 people around the world the Covet Group has become one of the biggest names in the home furnishing business. The internship lasted 3 months, starting at the end of March and ending at the beginning of July. During the internship, the following tasks were conducted: control and processing of invoices for later sending to the accounting department; observe the operation of the transport department to identify problems and propose practical solutions to resolve them; make use of the Power BI tool to create a warehouse stock map. Doing the internship proved to be an excellent choice, as it provided the opportunity to be able to observe in practice and experience a work experience. This experience was enriching in terms of acquiring robust practical knowledge regarding the operation of logistics. To facilitate and clarify the elaboration of the report, objectives were defined. The objectives were to assess the importance of the logistics department, observe the distinct functions in the company and apply the knowledge acquired in the master's degree by developing a Power BI application, to respond to the needs met. In short, this experience was enriching and fulfilled the objectives achieved, as evidenced by the testimonies received by the company's employees.
