Abstract(s)
“Personality Assessment Games for Human Resources” (Jogos de Avaliação da Personalidade para Recursos Humanos) é um projeto que pretende transpor o Inventário de Personalidade NEO-Revisto (NEO-PI-R) para um jogo sério e dinamizar o processo de recrutamento e seleção através da agilização do processo de aplicação do NEO-PI-R. Este projeto contextualiza-se através da necessidade de existirem métodos de avaliação da personalidade de um indivíduo capazes de serem aplicados num curto espaço de tempo, tal como o de uma entrevista de emprego. Para solucionar esse problema, este projeto baseou-se na criação de um portal web direcionado a recrutadores, desenvolvido para simplificar o processo de recrutamento e seleção, na criação de um jogo sério (como prova de conceito) para avaliação da personalidade de um candidato, sem que ele se aperceba da maneira como é avaliado, e na criação de um servidor centralizado que o portal e o jogo utilizam para persistirem dados relevantes numa base de dados. Concluindo, ficou claro que, apesar de não ter sido possível aferir a sua velocidade de aplicação, a transposição do NEO-PI-R para um jogo sério é viável, e a informatização do processo de aplicação do teste é possível, ajudando à resolução do problema descrito.
Personality Assessment Games for Human Resources is a project that aims to transpose the Revised NEO Personality Inventory (NEO-PI-R) to a serious game and dynamize the recruitment and selection process through the streamlining of the application process of NEOPI-R. This project gains meaning through the necessity of the existence of personality evaluation methods capable of being applied in a short time, such as a job interview’s. To solve this problem, this project was based on the creation of a web portal aimed at recruiters, developed to simplify the recruitment and selection process, on the creation of a serious game (as proof of concept) for evaluating a candidate’s personality, without him noticing the way he’s being evaluated, and on the creating of a centralized server that the portal and game use to persist relevant data in a database. Concluding, it was made clear that, even though it was not possible to measure its velocity of application, the transposition of NEO-PI-R to a serious game is viable, and the informatization of the test’s application process is possible, helping with solving the problem described.
