Abstract(s)
A crescente exigência do mercado obriga as empresas a oferecer produtos e
serviços de alta qualidade a preços competitivos para assegurar a sua sobrevivência. Assim,
as organizações são forçadas a racionalizar recursos, recorrendo a metodologias de
melhoria continua para otimizar o processo e baixar custos.
Este trabalho avalia e compara exaustivamente as principais metodologias de
melhoria continua PDCA, DMAIC, DMADV, MASP, 8D, TOC e MAFP, identificando
elementos comuns que contribuem para a melhoria dos processos. Porém, cada
metodologia aborda um tipo de problema, dificultando a escolha da metodologia mais
adequada. Será que a utilização de uma metodologia é suficiente para melhorar a eficiência
de um processo ou será que devemos uni-las para formular uma resolução mais completa
para os problemas encontrados? A crescente complexidade das empresas obriga a usar um
conjunto de ferramentas para resolver o problema. Para integrar as valências dos métodos
explorados, Ávila et al (1999) propõe uma Metodologia de Análise de Fluxo de processo
(MAFP) validada com um caso prático publicado. Contudo, este método termina antes da
implementação do plano de melhorias, deixando as equipas sem estrutura para
implementar, controlar e validar as mudanças. Como tal, este trabalho propõe uma
Metodologia De Análise E Melhoria Do Processo (MAMP). O MAMP aproveita a base do
MAFP e reúne sinergicamente os elementos-chave identificados na análise num modelo
integrado com as seguintes etapas: Seleção dos produtos/processos a analisar,
identificação dos problemas, formulação do plano de melhorias, validação do plano,
programação da implementação, implementação e controlo e Validação final.
Esta metodologia é estruturada, prescritiva e flexível a vários setores e cenários.
Incorpora ferramentas de diagnóstico, análise de dados, estratégias de implementação e
métricas de avaliação para guiar as organizações. Com a validação teórica do MAMP, falta
validar num caso prático para assegurar a sua viabilidade, tornando-se uma referência na
melhoria contínua de processos neste contexto organizacional dinâmico.

However, each methodology addresses a type of problem, making it difficult to choose the most appropriate methodology. Is the use of one methodology enough to improve the efficiency of a process or should we unite them to formulate a more complete solution to the problems encountered? The increasing complexity of companies forces them to use a set of tools to solve the problem. To integrate the benefits of the methods explored, Ávila et al (1999) propose a Process Flow Analysis Methodology (MAFP) validated with a published case study. However, this method ends before the implementation of the improvement plan, leaving teams without the structure to implement, control, and validate the changes. Given so, this work proposes a Process Analysis and Improvement Methodology (MAMP). MAMP takes advantage of the MAFP base and synergistically brings together the key elements identified in the analysis in an integrated model with the following steps: Selection of products/processes to be analysed, identification of problems, formulation of the improvement plan, validation of the plan, implementation programming, implementation and control and final validation. This methodology is structured, prescriptive, and flexible to various sectors and scenarios. It incorporates diagnostic tools, data analysis, implementation strategies, and evaluation metrics to guide organizations. With the theoretical validation of MAMP, it remains to be validated in a practical case to ensure its feasibility, becoming a reference in the continuous improvement of processes in this dynamic organizational context.
