Abstract(s)
The digitization of processes is increasingly the focus of organizations, as it can be an asset to their development and to being one step ahead of the competition. The speed at which the economy and industry grow today and the need for process traceability leads to the need for unavailable information, available anytime and anywhere, as well as their analysis to answer any problem on time. Thus, it is important that companies adapt to this type of reality and adopt innovation policies in their products and normalization of their productive processes, in order to allow a quick fit to the changes that occur in the market. This paper deals with that, as it is possible to detect opportunities to reduce paper use and consequent digitalization of processes, which can be inserted in a program focused on Industry 4.0. All work described in this document was developed at MCS Textile Solutions, Lda, a textile company, between February and July 2019. This company is engaged in the production and marketing of trimmings, including custom parts used for measuring and executing and performing the trade in sewing threads, contact tape and accessories. All the objectives set at the beginning of the internship were met and the new challenges that occurred during the internship, proposed by the management of the company that accompanied the entire process, were successfully overcome. As a guarantee of relevance and quality of this work for a company, all projects presented have been implemented or will be in the short term. At the same time, this experience allowed for meaningless continuous learning and growth, which allowed for a high level of personal development, as well as the development and improvement of the company, as a result of suggestions that can be used as solutions to the problems detected.
