Abstract(s)
Over the years, maintenance has gained enormous importance, assuming a fundamental role in organizations. It is in this direction that this dissertation was elaborated, analyzing the maintenance performance indicators that allow measuring the availability of equipment or classes of equipment over time, analyzing types of failures by asset classes typifying the most recurrent failures, calculating the rate of use of equipment and observe the impact of carrying out preventive maintenance interventions. This dissertation begins with a brief introduction, where the framework of this work is carried out, the objectives are presented, and the scientific methodology used in its elaboration is briefly described. In the literature review, which constitutes point 2 of this dissertation, a detailed collection of relevant information on the topic was carried out, which served as an initial reference for the work. In the development of the practical case, data from the NextBITT asset management software were removed and analyzed, to be worked on, to achieve the objective outlined by the private hospital group. In the conclusions, the most critical equipment’s were identified, and the needs of each one, with regard to improvements in their preventive and corrective maintenance actions. In addition, the brands with the best results were identified, from the operational evaluation carried out on each brand of each asset, with the objective of being chosen in future acquisitions.
