A presente dissertação surge na sequência de um projeto que visa a criação e desenvolvimento de planos de manutenção preventiva, em paralelo com outros que foram surgindo ao longo do estágio, na empresa Saica Pack Ovar, em Ovar. O projeto decorreu no departamento de produção e manutenção e teve como principal objetivo desenvolver um sistema de manutenção preventiva organizado e informatizado, monitorização de todos os indicadores de desempenho e melhoria na gestão visual. Inicialmente, foi necessário entender todo o processo produtivo, de forma a conhecer as práticas da empresa. Em seguida, foi necessário recolher toda a informação, para posteriormente criar e desenvolver novos planos de manutenção preventiva. Estes planos estavam associados à criação de uma ferramenta informática onde seria possível fazer um rastreamento do trabalho realizado em determinada intervenção. Em paralelo com este projeto também foram desenvolvidas ferramentas de auxílio ao tratamento de dados e, numa fase final, foram aplicadas algumas ferramentas Lean, como 5S e gestão visual, num setor mais debilitado da empresa. Os resultados obtidos ao longo deste projeto foram bastante satisfatórios, permitindo redução do número de avarias em aproximadamente 40%, ganhos de tempo, aumento da quantidade média por encomenda em 10% e redução do tempo médio por encomenda em 25%.
This dissertation follows a project aimed at the creation and development of preventive maintenance plans, in parallel with others that were emerging throughout the internship, at the company Saica Pack Ovar, in Ovar. The project took place in the production and maintenance department and its main goals were the development of an organized and computerized preventive maintenance system, the monitoring of all performance indicators and the improvement in visual management. Initially, it was necessary to understand the entire production process, in order to know the company's practices. Then, all the information was collected to later create and develop the new preventive maintenance plans. These plans were associated to the creation of a computer tool where it would be possible to track the work carried out in a given intervention. Together with this project, it was also developed tools to help the data processing and, in a final phase, some lean tools were applied, such as 5S and visual management, in a more weakened sector of the company. The results obtained throughout this dissertation were quite satisfactory, allowing a reduction in the number of malfunctions in approximately 40%, time savings, an increase in the average amount per order in 10% and a reduction of the average time per order in 25%.
