| dc.description.abstract | O presente projeto, realizado na Hydro Aluminium Extrusion Portugal, que produz e comercializa perfis de alumínio extrudido, tinha como principais objetivos: eliminar as interrupções de produção na extrusão por falta de abastecimento; aumentar a produtividade dos operadores logísticos; melhorar o fluxo logístico; reduzir desperdícios. Usou-se uma metodologia de investigação com a estratégia Action Research, uma vez que se trata de uma investigação que pretende responder a problemas reais numa empresa, fazendo o seu diagnóstico e solucionando-os. Assim sendo, propuseram-se ações de melhoria, tais como: planear os abastecimentos de matéria-prima e recolha de desperdícios, ou seja, criar planeamento logístico, criar um sistema de comunicação logístico e reorganizar os locais de armazenamento. Todas as propostas tiveram em conta o modelo de gestão para a logística Total Flow Management (TFM). Utilizaram-se vários métodos como, por exemplo, o Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Este trabalho mostrou que é possível garantir um fluxo logístico eficiente e, por outro lado, demonstrar, de uma forma prática, as vantagens da aplicação de um correto planeamento e o seu impacto na resposta às necessidades das diferentes áreas produtivas da cadeia de abastecimento. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This project, carried out at Hydro Aluminium Extrusion Portugal, which produces and sells extruded aluminum profiles, had the following main objectives: eliminate production interruptions in extrusion due to lack of supply; increase the productivity of logistics operators; improve logistics flow; reduce waste. A research methodology using the Action Research strategy was used, since it is an investigation that aims to respond to real problems in a company, diagnosing and solving them. Therefore, improvement actions were proposed, such as: planning raw material supplies and waste collection, creating logistics planning, creating a logistics communication system and reorganizing storage locations. All the proposals considered the Total Flow Management (TFM) management model for logistics. Various methods were used, for instance Value Stream Mapping (VSM). This work has shown that it is possible to guarantee an efficient logistics flow and, on the other hand, to demonstrate, in a practical way, the advantages of applying correct planning and its impact on meeting the needs of the different production areas in the supply chain. | pt_PT |
