Abstract(s)
Given the constant growth of technology, there has been a more frequent use of devices with internet access in the management of institutions and consequently a large accumulation of files. This accumulation of files causes ineffective and inefficient management to be carried out. Thus, there is a need to develop a solution that allows not only the elimination of dependency on files, but also the automation of some processes in the daily lives of employees. The work developed within the scope of this dissertation aims to develop a platform, called Portal Gecad, which helps employees of an R&D unit in carrying out their day-to-day processes, so that an efficient and effective management is carried out. In addition, it is still expected that this platform will be scalable and allow the addition of future modules, without having to be partially / completely reprogrammed. In the first phase, requirements were elicited and after the study of architectural and market standards, the system was designed, in view of the capacity to expand and withstand high usage loads, thus allowing a fluid use of the platform. In a development phase, the author of this dissertation led a team of undergraduate students in computer engineering, during the implementation of the design. The platform has several human resources management functionalities, from the ability to manage employees' working hours to making absence requests, whether due to illness, vacation or mission. The system allows those responsible to manage the equipment owned by the unit, as well as the ability of a collaborator to request them, thus maintaining a history of these.
