Abstract(s)
Em 1 de Janeiro de 2010, entrou em vigor o novo sistema contabilístico intitulado SNC
– Sistema de Normalização Contabilística. Este sistema trouxe à comunidade uma nova
realidade contabilística e de relato financeiro que assenta mais em princípios do que em
regras.
O presente trabalho realça numa primeira parte a forma como emergiu este novo
sistema contabilístico, dando especial atenção às alterações que surgiram nos modelos
das demonstrações financeiras, ou seja, mudanças de índole terminológica, estrutural, de
conteúdo e forma de apresentação, bem como o aparecimento de uma nova
demonstração financeira intitulada “Demonstração das Alterações no Capital Próprio”.
Tendo em conta que todas estas alterações afectam a tomada de decisões dos utentes, foi
dedicada uma parte deste estudo ao desenvolvimento da temática da informação
financeira.
Esta dissertação pretende ser uma ferramenta fundamental para ser utilizada por todos
os utilizadores da informação financeira, especialmente por aqueles que elaboram e
apresentam as demonstrações financeiras. In the 1st of January, 2010, entered into force the new accounting system entitled
Accounting Standards System. This system has brought the community a new
accounting reality and financial reporting that is based more on principles than on rules.
This work highlights in the first section the way of how it emerged from this new
accounting system, giving special attention to the changes that have emerged in the
models of the financial demonstrations, i.e., changes of terminological character,
structural, of the content and form of presentation, as well as the appearance of a new
financial statement called "Statements of Changes in Equity".
Taking into account that all of these changes affect the decision-making of users, a part
of the study was dedicated to the development of the theme of financial information.
This thesis aims to be a fundamental tool to be used by all users of financial
information, especially for those who elaborate and present the financial statement.
