Abstract(s)
garantir a sobrevivência e o crescimento sustentável no cenário internacional. Assim, a aptidão
In a context of increasing globalization and market competitiveness, the quest for perfection has become almost imperative for organizations. This globalization has brought opportunities for business expansion, but also challenges due to the high level of competition in the market, making it essential to maintain compliance with international quality standards. Thus, the development of a quality management system has become a crucial factor not only in meeting customer expectations and satisfaction, but also in ensuring survival and sustainable growth on the international stage. Thus, the ability to provide high quality products and services has become an essential competitive differentiator. In the industrial environment, quality is not only about meeting customer expectations, but also about optimizing processes, reducing waste and ensuring worker safety. The implementation of a quality management system is based on the application of the methodology addressed by ISO 9001:2015, which is an international benchmark for quality management systems, characterized by the process approach. The initial phase of this work focused on a detailed analysis of the current state of the company's quality management system. The study is essentially focused on extending the quality management system to the production side of the company, since the other processes are already certified. A list of work to be carried out with this process was therefore drawn up. At a later stage, all the tools, procedures and documentation based on the NP EN 9001:2015 standard necessary for optimizing the production system were created. The implementation of these tools is already bringing about improvements in the production system, such as better organization, which has a positive influence on the reduction in manufacturing times and, essentially, fewer waiting times. In addition, these improvements have a significant influence on the performance of employees, who not only perform better, but also feel more satisfied and cooperative with their colleagues and supervisors.
