Abstract(s)

The main objective of this work was the implementation of Maintenance planning and management, with the purpose of reducing pending work orders, reducing pending maintenance requests, and increasing the rigor of maintenance operations performed, mainly preventive, consequently increasing the efficiency of maintenance. maintenance. We adopted a research methodology that fits the principles of Action-Research, also using tools such as PDCA. As a result of this project it was found that in the case of the percentage by type of maintenance, corrective maintenance decreased by 13.7% in 2018 over the previous year, and preventive maintenance increased by 4.4% in the same homologous period. From the beginning of the internship until week 9 of 2019, the number of pending orders decreased by 52.7% and the number of pending work orders decreased by 52%. In terms of compliance with the general monthly maintenance plan, compared to the planned, there was an increase of 17%, and even in the last month reached the 100% monthly plan, including all work orders created in the plan. The ability to respond to requests made by internal customers was also increased as the number of pending orders decreased compared to the number of orders placed by them. After completion of the project, the CIN Maintenance Department implemented the methodology in question, with continuous process improvement as its main focus.
