A dissertação abaixo apresentada, tem por objetivo a descrição detalhada do trabalho desenvolvido durante a unidade curricular de Dissertação/ Projeto do 2º ano do Mestrado em Engenharia de Computação e Instrumentação Médica do Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP). Foi realizado um estudo em parceria com o Serviço de Instalações e Equipamentos (SIE) do Hospital Pedro Hispano (HPH) que pertence à Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos (ULSM), com o principal objetivo de mapear os processos envolvidos na manutenção de equipamentos médicos. Este estudo conteve um período de observação e recolha de dados nas instalações do SIE durante um período de três meses e durante os quais existiu uma colaboração com os responsáveis pela Electromedicina. Neste trabalho são descritos os principais conceitos associados à manutenção de equipamentos médicos e gestão de equipamentos médicos, assim como ao mapeamento de processos. De seguida, são apresentados os fluxogramas existentes na ULSM e o resultado do mapeamento recorrendo ao Software Arena. E por fim, é realizado o estudo e análise dos dados recolhidos durante o período de observação.
The dissertation presented below, aims to provide a detailed description of the work developed during the 2nd year Dissertação/Projeto course of the Master in Engenharia de Computação e Instrumentação Médica at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP). A study was carried out in partnership with the Serviço de Instalações e Equipamentos (SIE) of Hospital Pedro Hispano (HPH), which belongs to the Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos (ULSM), with the main objective of mapping the processes involved in the maintenance of medical equipment. This study contained a period of observation and data collection at the SIE facilities of three months and during which there was a collaboration with those responsible for Electromedicine. This work describes the main concepts associated with the maintenance of medical equipment and management of medical equipment, as well as the mapping of processes. Then, the existing flowcharts at ULSM and the result of the mapping using the Software Arena are presented. Finally, the study and analysis of the data collected during the observation period is carried out.
