Este projeto foi desenvolvido na empresa Cardan S.A., no departamento de gestão e abastecimento de componentes e o principal objetivo é a melhoria do processo de previsão e abastecimento dos principais consumíveis às diversas unidades de produção da empresa. Para tal, será analisado o sistema de gestão de stocks atualmente implementado e apresentadas soluções viáveis para a resolução dos problemas, para que, após a implementação deste projeto, a empresa consiga obter um sistema de gestão de stocks mais otimizado de forma a reduzir o custo global de stocks. Inicialmente, foi necessária a realização de uma análise extensiva ao funcionamento do processo gestão de stocks atualmente implementado, de forma a identificar as falhas mais críticas associadas. Com esta análise foi possível verificar que existe uma elevada necessidade de melhoria relativamente à gestão e aprovisionamento de stocks. De forma a implementar melhorias no sistema de gestão de stocks da empresa, seguindo os conhecimentos obtidos no mestrado sugere-se que seja desenvolvida uma ferramenta que realize o cálculo da previsão da procura assim como o do stock de segurança e do ponto de encomenda dos produtos e que seja produzida uma ferramenta que permita executar o roteamento de forma a minimizar os custos. Estas propostas de melhoria favorecem não só a empresa a nível económico como também a nível organizacional, mantendo o sistema de stocks mais organizado e otimizado, ou seja, estas permitirão ao departamento de gestão e aprovisionamento de peças um maior controlo sobre os itens críticos, uma minimização da quantidade de stocks, uma diminuição da possibilidade de rotura de stocks e ainda uma redução nos custos de distribuição.
This project was developed in the company Cardan S.A., in the department of management and supply of components and the main objective is to improve the process of forecasting and supply of the main consumables to the various production units of the company. To this end, the currently implemented stock management system will be analysed and viable solutions will be presented to solve the problems, so that after the implementation of this project, the company can obtain a more optimised stock management system in order to reduce the overall cost of stocks. Initially, it was necessary to carry out an extensive analysis of the functioning of the stock management process currently implemented, in order to identify the most critical flaws associated. With this analysis it was possible to verify that there is a high need for improvement regarding the management and provisioning of stocks. In order to implement improvements in the stock management system of the company, following the knowledge obtained in the master's degree, it is suggested that a tool be developed to calculate the demand forecast, as well as the safety stock and the point of order of the products, and that a tool be produced to perform the routing in order to minimise costs. These improvement proposals favour not only the company at an economic level but also at an organisational level, keeping the stock system more organised and optimised, i.e., they will allow the parts management and procurement department to have greater control over critical items, a reduction in the quantity of stock, a decrease in the possibility of stock-outs and also a drop in distribution costs.
