Abstract(s)
processo de formação contĆnua (LLL ā Long Liffe Learning).
Modern society is under a progressive and constant evolution in what concerns new technologies. Whatever the knowledge area is, it is common sense that not only a solid training is necessary but also the preparation and consolidation of the future generations in the usage of new technologies is fundamental. Currently, the e-learning platforms are a settled reality, applicable in all activity sectors. The health area is not an exception; however, there is a lack of availability from its professionals to participate in presential training sessions, which are fundamental to the continuous training process (LLL ā Long Life Learning). These professionals need to be constantly updated, in order to better contribute to its functionsā performance, such as the users counselling, the chronic patients monitoring, the correct use of medicines, among others. This essay pretends to implement in a hospital environment the distance learning in an elearning or b-learning model, identifying potential advantages and constraints inherent to the process. For this effect, it will be used MEDUCA platform, created by GILT-ISEP and based on Moodle, as a platform aimed to the health professionals training. This essay presents an investigation on the implementation of the above mentioned platform in a hospital environment. It is also presented the whole study/work developed to the implementation of MEDUCA platform in some contacted health entities. It is expected that this tool offers an educational and learning alternative, which goal is to constantly improve the training level of each health professional.
