Abstract(s)
Com o avanço tecnológico, a monitorização remota de dados de fábrica na indústria,
apresenta um interesse enorme para as empresas e para o funcionamento dos processos.
As várias ferramentas de monitorização, permitem maximizar os processos de
campo e a segurança do local de trabalho, através da aquisição de dados de fábrica
para sistemas de visualização, permitindo ao utilizador tomar decisões e medidas de
controlo.
A ideia deste projeto, surgiu da necessidade de integrar tecnologias baseadas
em Internet of Things (IoT), de forma a monitorizar informação considerada não
crítica para os processos químicos da empresa, como o estado ambiental das salas de
racks dos servidores, salas estas, que constituem os equipamentos essenciais para a
monitorização e controlo dos processos da empresa. Estas tecnologias acarretam um
custo e uma manutenção reduzida dos equipamentos, comparado com os sistemas
utilizados neste tipo de indústrias, proporcionando assim, a integração de tecnologia
IoT, na área de automação e controlo industrial.
O presente relatório apresenta o estudo de diferentes sistemas IoT, a aquisição de
dados através de comunicação sem fio, e a monitorização da informação pretendida,
por meio de uma ferramenta de monitorização desenvolvida. As condições destas
salas tendem a ser visualizadas numa interface intuitiva, com o objetivo do utilizador
compreender a informação disponibilizada. Os objetivos do projeto, visam melhorar
os sistemas de monitorização com a integração desta tecnologia na infraestrutura
Operational technology (OT), pretendendo assim obter resultados esperados das condições
ambientais, numa rede independente do sistema de monitorização e controlo
utilizado atualmente. Este sistema permite expandir facilmente, a arquitetura dos
sistemas de monitorização da fábrica.
With technological advances, remote monitoring of factory data in industry is of enormous interest to companies and the functioning of processes. The various monitoring tools allow you to maximize field processes and workplace safety, through the acquisition of factory data for visualization systems, allowing the user to make decisions and control measures. The idea for this project arose from the need to integrate technologies based in Internet of Things (IoT), in order to monitor information considered not critical to the company’s chemical processes, such as the environmental status of the server racks, which constitute the essential equipment for the monitoring and control of company processes. These technologies entail a reduced cost and maintenance of equipment, compared to conventional systems used in this type of industries, thus providing the integration of technology IoT, in the area of industrial automation and control. This report presents the study of different IoT systems, the acquisition of data through wireless communication, and monitoring the desired information through a developed monitoring tool. The conditions of these rooms tend to be viewed in an intuitive interface, with the user’s goal of understanding the information provided. The project objectives aim to improve monitoring systems with the integration of this technology into the infrastructure Operational technology (OT), in order to obtain the expected results from environmental conditions, in a network independent of the monitoring and control system currently used. This system allows to easily expand the architecture of the plant’s monitoring systems.
