As lesões apresentam-se como um dos maiores desafios enfrentados por treinadores e
jogadores, especialmente no futebol devido à sua natureza física. Embora os métodos de treino
e preparação física tenham evoluído, as lesões ainda surgem como uma ameaça ao
desempenho e à duração das carreiras dos atletas. Assim, através do estudo de vários aspetos
relacionados com a prevenção de lesões, este projeto procura contribuir para a criação de um
sistema web de apoio à decisão capaz de fornecer sugestões personalizadas de medidas
preventivas de forma a auxiliar no processo de tomada de decisão. As recomendações são
baseadas em testes antropométricos, fitness e habilidades, face aos resultados individuais do
jogador. A abordagem é inovadora, uma vez que utiliza dados específicos de cada jogador para
recomendar medidas de prevenção. Os testes de usabilidade e os inquéritos de satisfação
demonstram que o sistema é intuitivo, eficiente e altamente recomendado pelos utilizadores,
evidenciando o seu potencial no meio desportivo. Sendo acessível para clubes de qualquer nível,
este sistema promete revolucionar a área da prevenção de lesões e melhorar a qualidade de
vida dos jogadores, com o objetivo de se tornar uma ferramenta imprescindível no futuro.
Injuries are one of the biggest challenges faced by coaches and players, especially in football due to its physical nature. Although training methods and physical preparation have evolved, injuries still pose a threat to the performance and longevity of athletes' careers. Thus, through the study of various aspects related to injury prevention, this project aims to contribute to the creation of a web-based decision support system capable of providing personalized preventive measures to assist in the decision-making process. The recommendations are based on anthropometric, fitness, and skill tests, according to the player's individual results. The approach is innovative as it uses specific data from each player to recommend preventive measures. Usability tests and satisfaction surveys demonstrated that the system is intuitive, efficient, and highly recommended by users, highlighting its potential in the sports field. Being accessible for clubs at any level, this system promises to revolutionize the area of injury prevention and improve players' quality of life, with the goal of becoming an indispensable tool in the future.
