Abstract(s)
É apresentada a empresa,
e otimizar recursos a longo prazo.
Iberwind hosted the intern student for the undertaking of a technical consultancy project focused on the 31 wind farms scattered in national territory. The company in question is presented as well as the all procedure of development and construction of wind farms. The present internship report focuses, mainly, on the rehabilitation of access roads in wind farms, leaning into the specialties of excavation of slopes, drainage and paving, as well as the geometrical conditioning features. A few years have passed since the construction of the first wind farms and the deterioration of its access roads it’s starting to show. It is therefore important the work performed in the internship to evaluate the rehabilitation needs and maintenance of those access roads and to present global solutions. The field survey accomplished covered all the portfolio of the company and documented all the pathologies related to the fields of paving and drainage. Visits to all the parks where undertaken and accompanied by each field operator, alongside with interviews of the zone supervisors in order to agglomerate information and contextualize the problematic. A rehabilitation proposal was produced regarding the access roads in the worst conditions, which led to the contract of the construction works and accompaniment of some of them by the student, in the present year. The documented work allowed the idealization of an inspection and maintenance methodology to be implemented in the company’s wind farms has a way to reduce costs and optimize resources on the long run. The methodology consists, synthetically, in the periodical inspection of the access roads of each wind farm by the field teams, independently, and the definition of priority needs of maintenance and rehabilitation.
