| dc.description.abstract | O estado brasileiro é signatário de diversos acordos e tratados internacionais que visam o respeito pela diversidade sexual e pela identidade de gênero. Além disso, a legislação brasileira no domínio da educação nacional tem contribuído para integrar estas temáticas nos planos de educação. Em função disso, criou-se no Instituto Federal Farroupilha, o Núcleo de Gênero e Diversidade Sexual (NUGEDIS) com o objetivo de abordar esses temas ainda considerados tabus no contexto da sociedade brasileira. A presente investigação pretende analisar os contributos das ações do NUGEDIS do Instituto Federal Farroupilha - campus São Borja (IFFar-SB) nas representações e percepções dos estudantes de um curso Técnico para adultos (Curso Técnico em Cozinha Proeja) sobre questões de gênero. Essa pesquisa trata-se de um estudo de caso, tendo-se privilegiado como principais técnicas de investigação o inquérito por questionário, bem como a análise documental. Através da análise e discussão dos resultados procurou-se refletir de maneira, teoricamente orientada e empiricamente fundamentada, sobre as crenças, atitudes e aprendizados dos inquiridos a respeito das questões de gênero, especialmente, sobre sua apreensão e percepção das questões postas em pauta pelo feminismo como: os papéis de gênero socialmente construídos, a questão do trabalho produtivo e reprodutivo, a maternidade e o direito ao próprio corpo. Procurou-se igualmente aferir as representações dos estudantes em relação a conceitos como feminismo, identidade de gênero e diversidade sexual e de que forma estas questões integram o seu quotidiano. Na análise e discussão dos resultados, as respostas obtidas foram separadas de acordo com o sexo dos respondentes, o que possibilitou que a percepção das mulheres e dos homens participantes desse estudo sobre tais questões fossem comparadas, a fim de investigar as possíveis causas para as divergências encontradas. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Brazilian State is signatory to several international agreements and international treaties aimed at respecting sexual diversity and gender identity. In addition, Brazilian legislation in the field of national education has contributed to insert these themes in Brazilian education plans. For this reason, Farroupilha Federal Institute has created and implemented the Nucleus of Gender and Sexual Diversity (NUGEDIS) in order to address these themes that are still considered as taboo issues in Brazilian society. The present work seeks to analyze the contributions from the actions proposed by NUGEDIS in the representations and perceptions of gender issues of students of a Youth and Adult Professional Education Course (Assistant Cook - PROEJA) in Farroupilha Federal Institute in its campus in the city of São Borja – RS. This research is a case study in which the survey by questionnaire was used as the main investigation technique, together with a document analysis. In the analysis and discussion of the results, the answers obtained with the questionnaire were sorted out according to the gender of the respondents, which allowed a comparison between the perception of women and men on such questions, in order to investigate the divergences found and their possible causes. With the analysis and discussion of the results in a theoretically oriented and empirically grounded perspective, it was possible to reflect on the beliefs, attitudes and experiences of respondents regarding gender issues, especially on their understanding and perception of issues raised by the feminist movement, such as: the social construction of gender roles, the issue of productive and reproductive labor, the motherhood and the right over one's own body. It was also possible to measure if and to what extent these students understand theoretical concepts about feminism, gender identity and sexual diversity, as well as how these experiences fit into their daily lives.
