| dc.description.abstract | Discutímos atuação do gestor escolar na rede pública estadual de ensino, nas dimensões política e prática - no âmbito de um processo de construção coletiva da gestão democrática na escola básica, com vista a repensar o modo como as estruturas de poder permeiam as relações sociais e as práticas educativas. Abordamos as questões da participação e do trabalho coletivo na gestão escolar orientada pela figura do gestor enquanto sujeito capaz de promover e motivar esforços coletivos para alcançar aos fins da escola, e os objetivos da educação. Entendemos que este trabalho deve ser orientado pelo Projeto Político Pedagógico (PPP) e pelo fortalecimento do Conselho Escolar e demais instâncias colegiadas. Consideramos que o gestor é, neste processo, a figura principal na relação da escola com a comunidade, a quem cabe enfrentar os desafios da Gestão Democrática e responder aos anseios da comunidade escolar em participar e assumir responsabilidades frente à escola pública. Utilizámos a metodologia do estudo de caso ancorado na pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando para a coleta de dados os instrumentos observação, inquérito por questionário e inquérito por entrevistas, trianguladas com os documentos legais da educação nacional e a reflexão teórica disponível. Concluímos que a gestão escolar existente no campo investigado ainda caminha sem muita significância na busca dos pressupostos de uma gestão democrática e participativa. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | We discuss the performance of the school manager in the public school system: policies and practices in the process of collective construction of democratic management in the basic school with a view to rethinking the structures of authoritarian power that permeate social relations and educational practices. We address the issue of participation and collective work in school management guided by the manager figure as a subject capable of promoting and motivating collective efforts to achieve the goals of school, the goals of education. We understand that this work should be guided by the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) and by the strengthening of the School Council and other collegiate bodies. We consider that the manager is the main figure in the relationship between the school and the community capable of facing the challenges of Democratic Management and the aspirations of the school community to participate and assume responsibilities before the public school. We used the methodology of the case study anchored in the qualitative research using data collection instruments observation, questionnaire survey and inquiry by triangulated interviews with the legal documents of the national education and theoretical reflection available. We conclude that the existing school management in the field investigated is still not very significant in the search for the presuppositions of a democratic and participatory management. | pt_PT |
