Resumo(s)
Since the end of the 17th century a considerable
number of important mathematicians contributed to
the development of the Fractional Calculus (FC).
More recently, in the last decades of the 20th century,
it has been found that the dynamical behavior of many
complex systems can be properly described by fractional
order models. Due to the extensive applications
of FC tools in engineering and science, research in this
area has grown significantly all over the world
