Abstract(s)
resolução do problema.
Nowadays, competitiveness in a company is so important that to gain prominence in the market, it is mandatory to establish a dynamic strategy. A highly effective strategy is using continuous improvement methodologies, including the eight disciplines methodology. This methodology is used to solve problems through a systematic change, improving a whole process, avoiding the problem in question and other problems of a systematic failure. In order to respond to the continuous growth it has undergone over the years, Parfois continuously seeks new solutions that provide it with competitive advantages. One action was to change the entire logistics operation to new infrastructures in Canelas, Vila Nova de Gaia. The former facilities in Rio Tinto had a maximum capacity of 648 stores, while the current can supply 1152 stores. Therefore, this dissertation aims to improve the logistics operations of the main warehouse. Initially, bibliographical research was carried out on fast-fashion, logistics, transportation, and LEAN. Subsequently, a framework for the product distribution processes was carried out to apply the 8D methodology to solve the problem. This methodology enabled it to detect deviations between planned and actual values and identify their causes. Afterward, corrective measures were applied to minimize the deviations. With this, it was possible to reduce deviations by around 60%
