O presente relatório de estágio diz respeito à conclusão do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar. Este documento refere-se às práticas educativas supervisionadas realizadas pela mestranda, tanto na valência de educação em creche como na valência de educação pré-escolar.
A investigação teve como tema "A arte como forma de expressão na educação de infância", focalizando o seu estudo na articulação entre o enquadramento teórico e legal e o enquadramento prático em ambos os contextos. Procedeu-se à caracterização dos ambientes educativos, nomeadamente das instituições educativas, das salas de atividades, dos tempos pedagógicos, dos grupos de crianças, das interações, bem como das ações educativas e das metodologias utilizadas. Desta investigação reforça-se a importância das artes na educação, particularmente na educação de infância, assumindo estas um papel estruturante num processo de desenvolvimento integral da criança. Esta conceção é consolidada na reflexão final, onde se destacam as principais aprendizagens desenvolvidas ao longo do percurso educativo da mestranda, num sentido simultaneamente retrospetivo e prospetivo da sua prática profissional.
Infere-se, por fim, que a educação de infância constitui uma etapa fundamental do desenvolvimento e que, como tal, deve ser valorizada nos contextos educativos, promovendo um ambiente que assegure o bem-estar, a segurança e a confiança da criança. Importa assim proporcionar experiências pedagógicas que a reconheçam como sujeito ativo, competente e consciente da sua aprendizagem, sendo a arte um motor para o seu desenvolvimento.
The present internship report concerns the completion of the Master’s Degree in Preschool Education. This document refers to the supervised educational practices carried out by the student, both in the context of nursery education and preschool education. The research focused on the theme Arts as a form of expression in early childhood education, grounding its study in the articulation between the theoretical and legal framework and the practical framework of both contexts. A characterization of the educational environments was carried out, namely the educational institutions, the activity rooms, the pedagogical routines, the groups of children, the interactions, as well as the educational actions and methodologies implemented. This investigation reinforces the importance of the arts in education, particularly in early childhood education, as they assume a structuring role in the child’s holistic development. This understanding is consolidated in the final reflection, which highlights the main learning outcomes developed throughout the student’s educational pathway, from both a retrospective and prospective perspective of her professional practice. It is inferred, finally, that early childhood education constitutes a fundamental stage of development and, as such, should be valued within educational contexts, promoting an environment that ensures the child’s well-being, safety, and confidence. It is therefore essential to provide pedagogical experiences that recognise the child as an active, competent, and aware agent in their own learning, with the arts serving as a driving force for their development.
