| Abstract: | The New Opportunities Center (NOC), of the Center for integrated Education and Vocational Training, involve, in their work, many adults with intellectual disabilities and developed, with the Oporto School of Education, an action research project, wich took major concerns for reflection, training and monitoring of educative practices. Thus, through a consistent process of reviewing the work done, we had the opportunity to reflect on the practices of recognition and validation of competences acquired by adults throughout their lives, especially considering the demands and challenges faced by the NOC that are involving people with limited cognitive functioning. |
