A presente dissertação visa analisar o referencial de relatórios de sustentabilidade desenvolvido pela Global Reporting Initiative, na sua versão mais recente GRI-G4, que tem como objetivo ajudar as organizações nessa tarefa e facilitar a sua interação com os stakeholders, através da padronização dos conteúdos que as organizações, independentemente da dimensão e setor de atividade, devem incorporar nos seus relatórios de sustentabilidade.The sustainability of organizations as well as their concerns on economic, environmental and social impacts on their wide range of sustainability issues have been assuming a growing preponderance among stakeholders. To meet these concerns, organizations must study, disseminate and improve their performance on topics related to sustainability in the most objective and transparent possible way. This thesis aims to analyse the sustainability reporting framework developed by the Global Reporting Initiative, in its latest version GRI-G4, which enables organizations be mote transparent about the risks and opportunities they face.
