O presente estudo tem como objetivo, investigar os impactos da rotatividade de servidores docentes no aproveitamento académico dos alunos e funcionamento escolar do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciências e Tecnologia de Rondônia - IFRO - Campus Guajará-Mirim. Quanto a metodologia, foi efetuada uma investigação empírica, de natureza qualitativa e quantitativa, portanto pode ser considerada mista; concretamente levado a cabo um estudo de caso, por se tratar de uma unidade alvo de análise em especial. Quanto aos instrumentos de coleta de dados, foi realizada inquéritos sob a forma de questionários aplicados aos alunos dos 2º e 3º anos dos cursos técnicos integrados ao ensino médio; entrevista aplicada a servidores docentes que se evadiram do IFRO-CGM ao longo dos últimos 5 (cinco) anos; entrevista aos servidores gestores (Diretora Geral e Chefe do Departamento de Apoio ao Ensino). No fim, foi feita uma triangulação dos dados obtidos com o objetivo de encontrar explicações à situação estudada e apresentação de algumas sugestões que podem vir a contribuir para a melhoria das condições de trabalho dos servidores docentes. Se conseguir evitar uma menor rotatividade docente, isso refletir-se-á positivamente no desenvolvimento do IFRO-CGM.The Turnover of teaching staff is closely linked and is reflected in the interaction between teacher and student, which may impair the students' learning capacity, cause changes in the development of teaching, discontinuity in participating in pedagogical work, extension and research, which had been extended between one academic year and another, as well as in the life of the educational establishment in which it occurs. This study aims to investigate the impacts of the Turnover of teaching staff on the academic achievement of students and school performance of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia - IFRO - Guajará-Mirim Campus. As for the methodology, an empirical investigation will be carried out, of a qualitative and quantitative nature, therefore it can be considered mixed; concretely, a case study will be carried out, as it is a target unit of analysis in particular. As for the data collection instruments, it is intended to use surveys in the form of questionnaires applied to students of the 2nd and 3rd years of technical courses integrated to high school; interview applied to teaching staff who have escaped from IFRO-CGM over the past 5 (five) years; interview with management employees (General Director and Head of the Department of Education Support). In the end, we will triangulate the data obtained in order to find explanations for the studied situation and present some suggestions that may contribute to the improvement of the working conditions of the teaching staff.
