Tem por base a atividade desenvolvida num estágio de seis meses na agência de Tradução Word-Way, em Matosinhos, Porto. Durante o estágio foi desenvolvido um trabalho de tradução de projetos-teste de alemão para português europeu, com maior enfâse em textos associados a manuais de instruções. A grande complexidade a nível da informação e da terminologia deu origem a problemas na capacidade tradutiva e na escolha terminológica, tendo-se sistematizado uma abordagem para resolver os mesmos.This report describes and analyses the translation issues and the ways used to solve them, during the translation of technical texts in the areas of mechanical and industrial engineering. It was grounded on an internship lasting six months at Word-Way, a translation agency in Matosinhos, Porto. In this internship, a translation process of previously translated documents was carried out. These documents, the majority of them instruction manuals, were translated from German into European Portuguese.
