Posiciona-se metodologicamente no “paradigma emergente” e na Investigação-Ação Participativa (IAP), defendendo a participação ativa dos idosos em todo o seu processo. Na sua base, encontra-se a necessidade da participação das pessoas nas decisões do quotidiano e, para responder a esta necessidade, o projeto realça as trajetórias de vida dos idosos e as relações intergeracionais, tendo como intuito a partilha de vivências, conhecimentos e experiências, valorizando os sujeitos e a sua bagagem, assim como alargar os horizontes das pessoas a novas perspetivas. O projeto engloba duas ações (O Nosso Caminho, A nossa Aprendizagem e Saber – Uma transmissão Intergeracional) que se encontram integradas e interligadas.This academic essay portrays a project developed with adults in a Residential Structure for Elderly People (RSEP). Placed methodologically in the “emerging paradigm” and in the Participatory Action-Investigation (PAI), it defends the active participation of the elderly in all its process. On its base, it’s found the necessity of people’s participation in daily life decisions. To respond to this necessity, the project highlights the life trajectories of the elderly and the intergenerational relationships with the intention of sharing life experiences and knowledge, valuing the individuals and their baggage, as well as opening up the view of other people to new perspectives.
