O documento procura articular a componente prática da PES com a realização de um projeto de investigação, desenvolvido ao longo do ano letivo de 2024/2025. O presente relatório estrutura-se em três partes principais: a Observação da Prática Musical no 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada e o Projeto de Investigação, este último desenvolvido em diferentes subcapítulos. O primeiro capítulo é dedicado à fase inicial da PES, a observação da prática de ensino da EM no contexto do ensino do EB. Esta fase revelou-se fundamental para compreender as metodologias utilizadas, as dinâmicas de sala de aula e os processos que caracterizam o ensino da música em contexto real. No segundo capítulo, apresenta-se a contextualização da Escola Básica Francisco Torrinha, onde decorreu a minha PES. Está incluída a caracterização da escola e da turma atribuída, com a descrição do cronograma das atividades realizadas ao longo do ano letivo. O terceiro capítulo expõe o projeto de investigação intitulado “A influência da disciplina de Educação Musical na vida de um Músico: Reflexões sobre Memórias e Impactos”. Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar o papel da disciplina e os vários fatores que contribuíram para a decisão de carreira destes profissionais. A pesquisa dispões de uma abordagem qualitativa, com o apoio da revisão de literatura, entrevistas para a recolha e análise de dados.This report is part of the Supervised Teaching Practice (PES) unit, integrated into the Master’s Degree in Music Educacion (EM) for Basic Education (EB), offered by the Higher School of Education (ESSE) of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. The document aims to connect the practical componente of the PES with the development of a research project carried out thoughout the 2024/2025 academic year. The report is structured into three main parts: Observation of Musical Practice in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education, Supervised Teaching Practice, and the Research Project, developed across several subchapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the initial phase of PES: observing the teaching practice of EM within the contexto of EB. This pahse proved essential for understanding the methodologies employed, classroom dynamics, and the processes that characterize EM in a real-world setting. The second chapter presents the contextualization of Francisco Torrinha Basic School where the PES took place. It includes a description of the school and the assigned class, along with a timeline of the activities carried out throughout the academic year. The third chapter outlines the research project entitled “The Influence of the Music Education Subject in the Life of a Musician: Reflections on Memories and Impacts”. This study aims to analyze the role of the subject and the various factos that contributed to these professionals’ career decisions.
