Centrado na valorização da música como linguagem artística, este trabalho analisa o potencial expressivo, afetivo e criativo da experiência musical na infância, bem como o seu contributo para o bem-estar e desenvolvimento global da criança. A partir de uma abordagem participativa e de uma perspetiva que reconhece a criança como sujeito de direitos, a mestranda desenvolveu propostas musicais que privilegiaram a escuta, a improvisação e o movimento, favorecendo a autonomia, a sensibilidade e o envolvimento. Inspiradas na abordagem de Reggio Emilia e nas teorias do desenvolvimento musical da criança, as ações pedagógicas foram concebidas como experiências abertas, esteticamente cuidadas e potenciadoras de vínculos afetivos. A prática educativa revelou-se como um espaço de investigação e reflexão, onde se procurou responder aos interesses das crianças e superar algumas limitações descritas na literatura, promovendo ações pedagógicas que tentaram ser inovadoras. A música foi entendida não como uma atividade ocasional ou funcional, mas como uma linguagem essencial ao desenvolvimento da expressão, da criatividade e da relação afetiva. Este relatório evidencia a importância de criar contextos educativos mais sensíveis, onde as múltiplas linguagens da infância - com destaque para a musical - sejam reconhecidas e promovidas de forma intencional. Através da análise das experiências vividas e da fundamentação teórica que as sustentou, a mestranda propõe uma visão da educação artística como eixo central de uma pedagogia humanizadora, reflexiva e transformadora, valorizando a arte como uma forma de ser e estar no mundo.This Internship Report falls within the scope of the Supervised Educational Practice Course Units of the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education and reflects the student's training path in Daycare and Pre-School Education contexts. Focused on the value of music as an artistic language, this work analyses the expressive, affective and creative potential of musical experience in childhood, as well as its contribution to the well-being and overall development of the child. Using a participatory approach and a perspective that recognizes children as subjects of rights, the student developed musical proposals that prioritised listening, improvisation and movement, promoting autonomy, sensitivity and involvement. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and theories of child musical development, the pedagogical actions were designed as open experiences, aesthetically refined and conducive to emotional bonding. Educational practice proved to be a space for research and reflection, aimed to respond to children's interests and overcome some of the limitations described in the literature, promoting pedagogical actions that sought to be innovative. Music was used not as an occasional or functional activity, but as a language essential to the development of expression, creativity and emotional relationships. This report highlights the importance of creating more sensitive educational contexts, where the multiple languages of childhood - with an emphasis on music - are recognised and promoted intentionally.
