Através desta investigação, procura-se compreender de que forma as bandas filarmónicas contribuem para o desenvolvimento técnico, artístico e social dos trompetistas em formação.The present master’s dissertation aims to analyze the role of philharmonic bands in the training of trumpet players, highlighting the pedagogical strategies employed and the motivational impact that these institutions have on young musicians. The work was developed within the scope of the Curricular Unit of Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master’s Degree in Music Education at the School of Music and Performing Arts, and it is organized into three chapters: institutional contextualization, pedagogical practice, and the research project.
