Casa-Museu de Vilar - A imagem em movimento: inventário da coleção pré-cinema

Abstract

O projeto de estágio consiste na inventariação da sala do Pré-Cinema (período cinematográfico considerado até 1895) da “Casa-Museu de Vilar – A Imagem em Movimento”. Esta situa-se em Vilar do Torno e Alentém (concelho de Lousada) e é dirigida pelo realizador Abi Feijó (Dr. Álvaro Feijó). A estada ocorre na casa-museu, entre os meses de outubro de 2018 a junho de 2019, sob orientação do próprio Abi Feijó, no sentido de viabilizar ao público-alvo da instituição, conhecimento específico sobre as peças da sala mencionada. O objetivo principal é a criação de fichas de inventário, com a finalidade dos utilizadores terem acesso às mesmas, tendo estas dados representativos da evolução/origem do Cinema. Estes dados só eram possíveis de obter, até à data, subentendidos nas visitas-guiadas levadas a cabo pelo realizador ou após a leitura de vários livros da biblioteca da casa-museu, não tendo a bibliografia documentação singular sobre as peças museológicas. Além do processo de desenvolvimento do estágio, o presente documento contextualiza a Casa-Museu de Vilar, sintetiza o que é o Cinema de Animação – estudando o caso-prático de Abi Feijó e Regina Pessoa – e enquadra a História do Pré-Cinema na coleção existente na casa-museu.

The internship project consists of the inventorying of the Pre-Cinema room (cinematographic period considered until 1895) from the “Casa-Museu de Vilar – The Moving Image”. This one is located in “Vilar do Torno e Alentém” (municipality of Lousada) and it is run by the director Abi Feijó (Dr. Ávaro Feijó). The internship occurs in the house-museum between the months of October 2018 and June 2019, under the guidance of Abi Feijó himself, in order to provide the institution’s target audience with knowledge about the pieces in the room mentioned. The main objective is the creation of inventory sheets, so that users can have access to them. These sheets have representative data of the evolution/origin of Cinema. These data were only possible to obtain, until now, while being implied in the guided tours carried out by the director or after the reading of several books from the house-museum’s library, since the bibliography didn’t have singular documentation about the museum’s pieces. Besides the internships’ process of development, the present document contextualizes the House-Museum of Vilar, summarises what Animation Cinema is – studying the practical case of Abi Feijó and Regina Pessoa – and inserts the History of Pre-Cinema in the existent collection of the house-museum.
